Spay & Neuter Clinics

Like many developing island nations the Turks and Caicos Islands suffers from pet over population. Therefore the main focus of the SPCA and the Grand Turk chapter is to provide spay/neuter surgeries for resposible pet owners.   We could not provide the essential service without the highly talented skills of veterinarian Dr. Meghann Kruck.   Her team of professional vet techs have visited the island numerious times starting in 2014.  They have performed over 600 surgeries at IPAW sponsered clinics.

As of 2017 Meghann now resides in Provo and does weekly visits to Grand Turk.  The weekly visits are providing pet owners with the ability to obtain the care and medications they need.

The Spay and Neuter clinics sponsored by the SPCA will still continue.  Pet owners are also given an opportunity to bring their pets in for general heath wellness.  The clinics provide information about caring for pets and medications are available.  The services are offered at reduced rates to assist owners with the cost of having their pets spayed and neutered.
